Former Bantam Joins Barlick

Barnoldswick Town have announced the signing of former Bradford City striker Danny Forrest.
Danny, 31, started his career as an apprentice professional at Bradford City, and spent five years at the club between 2001 and 2006, making 50 appearances in both the Championship and League One, scoring 5 goals.
He went on loan in season 2005-06 at Halifax Town and was involved in the promotion play off final against Hereford United.
He then signed permanently at Halifax for 2 years and made over 120 appearances, before making the move south to Crawley Town in summer 2008. In his two seasons there, Crawley finished 8th and 6th in conference, and Danny made 80 appearances,
At the start of the 2010/11 season he signed for Barrow, although a serious ankle injury hampered his time there, and he made only 14 appearances and spent the second half of the season on loan at Guiseley where he reached the play off final.
He then signed permanently for Guiseley and spent two seasons there, playing in 2 more play off campaigns, before a spell at Harrogate Town, a return to Guiseley during the 2013/14 season and then a move to Gainsborough Trinity in 2014/15.
Barnoldswick Town assistant manager and friend of Danny, James Gill said: "I am delighted to have brought a player of Danny's calibre into the club.
"He's an ex-pro that has had a very good career to date, and I know he's raring to go and show the Sewer End what he's got. He won't only bring quality on the pitch but also a wealth of experience off it.
"Hopefully along with another couple of new faces in the pipeline, he will give us the timely boost we need to end the season on a high and give us that push to finish in the top six.
"Danny goes straight into the squad for Saturday's visit of Ashton Athletic".
