Many of our clubs over the years have seen players move on to greater fame and fortune elsewhere, but at the moment Winsford United have more than their fair share of famous names at the club.
The growing list was spotted by a man with a recognisable moniker himself, Blues Assistant Secretary Steve Wright, who claims he is the original and not a cardboard radio presenter!
Last season, David Bailey looked after the club website, and the responsibility this season has passed to David Bowie (along with his wife Pam, we should add). On the management committee, Martin O'Neill also carries out the role of Commercial Manager, and on the field Sam Cook probably has some way to go before he can claim to be a rival to the soul singer of the same name.
This obviously begs the question - how many other clubs can boast famous names? Let us know if there are any at your club.
