Atherton LR have confirmed the appointment of former Bootle U21's Manager Dave Jones as the clubs new first team Manager.  Dave (pictured) will be joined by former Cefn Druids & Airbus Coach, Gareth Flitcroft as his Assistant Manager and his former Assistant at Bootle, Mick Moran has also joined the Management team.  

David joins the club from the very successful Bootle U21s side which comfortably won the North West U21s league this season and in the past week won the Liverpool CFA Junior Cup. 
 
Chairman Shaun Lynch had his say on the new appointment: "From the moment I met Dave I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the game, he might well be the youngest manager in counties history, but he doesn’t come across that way . He has got together a great backroom staff and been very successful with his Bootle U21s.  Sometimes you have to give a lad a chance and we think we've made an excellent choice. Everyone at LR will give him every chance to succeed"
