Division One South side Wythenshawe Amateurs have appointed a familiar face as their new managerial appointment in the form of Shane Goldrick.
Shane is no stranger to Hollyhedge Park, having previously served as first team manager and more recently as Interim manager for the last two games.
Speaking about his appointment, Shane said, "I'm excited to be back, I've really enjoyed the last two games and I feel as though I have unfinished business here. We've got the basis of a good squad, I'm looking to build on this and to be challenging at the top end of the table this season. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in, it's great to be back."
Club Senior Committee Chairman, Ray Gibson, added, "We're delighted to have Shane back, his ambitions match the clubs. We believe that this will prove to be a popular and successful appointment for the Club and we welcome Shane back."
Shane's first game back as manager is today's FA Vase at Penistone Church, this isn't an all ticket game and you can pay on the gate.
