The Macron Player of the Month Awards have been confirmed by League Awards Co-Ordinator, Peter Stokes and we are delighted to announce the winners for November 2019.

Macron Club of the Month was announced on Tuesday morning and here is a reminder:

PREMIER DIVISION - 1874 NORTHWICH (For the third month running!)

DIVISION ONE NORTH - Withdrawn due to a discplinary issue.

DIVISION ONE SOUTH - FC OSWESTRY TOWN

Macron Player of the Month for NWCFL Premier Division is Ryland's forward Kane Drummond.

Games Played: 5

Man of the Match: 5

Goals: 3

Reason for Nomination: Kane has had a brilliant month and goes from strength to strength with every game. The month started with a cup game against 1874. Kane was a constant threat throughout and created a number of chances including playing a key part in the last minute equaliser that took the game to a penalty shootout. Kane was the best player in a blue shirt on the day and was given the MOM award for his performance The next game was a tough away game to Padiham.

Kane produced a fantastic performance causing problems with his movement and pace. Kane managed to score the two well worked goals showing that he has an eye for goal as well as being a creative force. He was unplayable at times and also showed that he has the capability to do the other side of the game too with a tireless performance out of possession too. Once again, Kane was given MOM Next up was another away game, this time a trip to Oldham to play Avro. This turned out to be an unbelievably tough game with both sides playing football and going at each other in the right way.

The game could have gone either way but the real difference between the two sides on the day was Kane. His ability to run at defenders and find space was evident as he probed to help find that all important goal. Kane was fouled in the area that resulted in a penalty and the only goal of the game. Another MOM performance. In to the Christmas period and the first game in three days was against Runcorn Town, another tough game and another big performance from Kane. Kane played a major part in the opening goal providing the assist. Once again he was excellent on the ball and off it and was awarded MOM for his contribution.

The final game of the month was another tough game as we travelled to league leaders 1874. Kane was once again the stand out performer amongst a very good team performance. Kane managed to score a brilliant goal on the stroke of half time and caused the 1874 defence numerous problems throughout the game. Once again an MOM award to make it i5 in 5 games and round off a fantastic month for him personally. Kane has sown just how much talent he has over the month of December, he adds a huge amount on the ball and has also been working on improving his game out of possession too. A brilliant player a great lad in the changing room too.

Macron Player of the Month for NWCFL First Division North is AFC Liverpool's winger Kyle Schorah

Games Played: 6

Man of the Match: 2

Goals: 1

Assists: 4

Reason for Nomination: Kyle has been ever present this month playing 6 games in 3 competitions proof, if it were needed, that he has become integral to manager Chris Anderson's philosophy and his team's identity. Kyle plays on the right wing and uses his pace and trickery to torment opposing defenders and create chances for our forwards. His moment of the month came in our Boxing Day fixture away at league leaders Lower Breck. As the game entered added time we were trailing 3-2 when Kyle intervened, picking the pocket of a defender who dwelt on the ball a split second too long.

He moved the ball to the side before curling a 20 yard shot beyond the outstretched hand of Josh Molloy to earn his side a valuable point and the man of the match nomination. He is without doubt our most fouled player so it is to his credit that he has yet to be booked this season. Kyle is developing into a top class player and is still only 18 years old. He surely has the brightest of futures. Games Played: 6 Man of the Match: 2 inc LCFA Senior Cup Goals Scored: 1 Assists: 4

Macron Player of the Month for NWCFL First Division South is Ellesmere Rangers midfielder Jack Briscoe.

Games Played: 4

Man of the Match: 1

Goals: 4

Assists: 2

Reason for Nomination: I would like to nominate Jack Briscoe as our player of the month as in my opinion he has really stepped up to the mark. He has played in 4 of the 5 games that we have played and received man of the match in one of these games. But most importantly for Ellesmere Rangers he has scored 4 goals in this period, 2 goals against Sandbach at home and also 2 goals against top of the league Vauxhall Motors away from home. As we have been bottom of the league until this month 4 goals have been very important to us.

Jack is only 19 and has played his football through our junior section and then 2 seasons in our youth team who play in the Midland Floodlit Youth League. A great club lad who is 100% committed, he has been approached to go to other clubs, but has stayed loyal to Ellesmere Rangers and as a club we really appreciate and respect him for this. If Jack was selected to win player of the month that would be really special for him as a young man progressing in his football at a tender age and give him a big boost. Also everyone at the club and especially his family who are always there to support him.
Well done to Kane, Kyle and Jack.
