NWCFL Historic Average Attendances

Attendance records for the NWCFL started way back in 2003 and ever since they have been recorded by our excell statisticians. 

We now take a look into the average league attendances for the clubs who have been with us in 2003.

The obvious highest average was FC United of Manchester in 2005-06 and 2006-07 with 3,059 and 2,581 respectively.

However, without FC United in the mix, the highest average attendance has recently been City of Liverpool when they won the NWCFL First Division in 2015-16.

City of Liverpool also boasts the second-highest average in the NWCFL Premier Division when in 2018-19 they won the top flight.

With the highs, also comes some lows, with Northwich Villa average just 18 fans during their home games as they finished bottom of the NWCFL First Division in 2012-13. In recent years though the lows are ever-increasingly which demonstrates that non-league is growing.

During the last decade or so, the average attendances have increased by around 30% and currently standings at around 117.
