The Buildbase FA Vase 2nd Round Draw took place yesterday at The FA Headquarters in London and the following fixtures were drawn out:

Irlam v Consett
Congleton Town Maine Road
Stockton Town v Barnoldswick Town
Northwich Victoria Wythenshawe Town
Lower Breck v Shildon
Vauxhall Motors v Sunderland Ryhope CW
Rylands v Grimsby Borough
Longridge Town v Thornaby

Here are some of the manager's reactions:

Gary Moore (Lower Breck): "Don't know too much about Shildon but from the standard of the league they play in and knowing they beat a very good West Didsbury side in the first round we no it will be a tough test.

"But it's all about us and how we prepare and perform on the day and the if we reach the levels we did at Charnock we no we can progress into the 3rd Round."

James Kinsey (Wythenshawe Town): "We was hoping for a home draw and wasn't too fussed on the opponent as we fancy ourselves against anybody at the minute. But Northwich Victoria are a good side so it will be another big test and one that we will look forward to."

Steve Wilkes (Northwich Victoria): "Tough game against a team that are bang in form. They've won 7 out of there last 8, but at least we're at home. We'll prepare like we always do and but know we're in for a hard afternoon."

Mick McGraa (Vauxhall Motors): "Really happy with a home draw as we have had three away games gonna be a really tough game they beat Ashton athletic who is a really strong team in our Premier Division, so it sill is tough but excited."

Ray Barnet (Maine Road): "We were hoping for a home draw like everyone but we will look forward to visiting Congleton as this will be a big test for us playing a good Premier League side and in cup games, it's all on the day.

"If we are in form and Congleton have an off day then who knows what could happen over 90 minutes."

Lee Ashcroft (Longridge Town): "It's a home draw. Obviously against a good side from the Northern League. It's an exciting time for the football club going into the unknown as we have never ventured this far.

"As the rounds go by you play better opponents, and no doubt this will be difficult - just hope we can get a big crowd on to support us."

David McNabb (Rylands): "It’s another tough draw against a side that is doing well in their league to date. It’s always expected that at this stage any tie will be difficult but we have been fortunate enough to get a home tie which is a huge positive."

Michael Dodd (Irlam): "First and foremost we are glad to be at home, although Consett looks a difficult tie. They are flying high in the Northern League at present and as with any team in good form, they will fancy their chances. We will be fully prepared as always and will look to build on our good start and get into the next round.

"We got to the last 16 in the competition last year and we are a stronger group this time around. The lads will be more than up for the challenge."
