The constitution of The North West Counties Football League for season 2012/13 has been finalised at the league's Annual General Meeting held at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool on Saturday.

The League officially said goodbye to Premier Division Champions Ramsbottom United whose 17 year membership ended with them rightfully talking their place in the Evo Stik Division North for next season. Replacing Rammy is Stockport Sports FC (recently renamed from Woodley Sports) who were relegated from The Evo Stik League.

Premier Division Flixton resigned their membership from the League which means that St Helens Town have been handed a reprieval from relegation - thus maintaining their record as the only NWCFL side to compete in the top division throughout the league's history.

Also joining the Premier Division are Wigan Robin Park and Norton United as First Division Champions and Runners up respectively, while Atherton LR are relegated to the First Division.

As well as welcoming LR into the First Division, we also welcome a new club in West Didsbury & Chorlton who are promoted from the Manchester League.

The Reserve Division constitution will be confirmed shortly.
