A number of landmarks to report this week.

Tuesday 8th February 2011

Ashton Town's second goal in their 5-2 win at home to Daisy Hill, scored by Lewis Coyle, was their 750th home League goal.

Atherton Collieries' 2-1 win at AFC Darwen was their 150th away League win.

Wednesday 9th February 2011

Ashley Miller's winning goal for Norton United in their 3-2 win at Cheadle was their 500th League goal.

Runcorn Town's 2-1 win at AFC Liverpool was their first ever midweek game in the Vodkat League since joining us last summer - it will take a while to check that one out, but it's likely that no team has waited six months to play a midweek game after joining the league.

Saturday 12th February 2011

New Mills reached 500 League points with their 2-0 win at Ashton Athletic.

Colne's second goal in their 2-1 win at Stone Dominoes, scored by Sam Morris, was their 400th away League goal.

Atherton LR's 10-4 win over Formby produced two records.

Formby's second goal, the first of two scored by David McLoughlin, was Formby's 1500th League goal.

Atherton LR's 10 goals is LR's record score in the NWCFL.  League Statistician Paul Cowburn has checked his records, and can't find them having scored more then six goals in a game before.
