The Vestacare stadium will see a clash of two teams looking for their first win on Wednesday as Avro host Padiham.

Avro lost 2-1 against Longridge Town while Padiham suffed a 4-1 defeat at the hands of 1874 Northwich.

Rylands, who beat Charnock Richard on the opening day, will travel to Litherland REMYCA. A 2-2 draw at Irlam was the result for Phil Stafford's team on Saturday.

Steve Wilkes' Northwich Victoria conceded a last-minute game-deciding goal when they faced Whitchurch Alport on the opening day, so they'll look to bounce back against a Congleton Town team who drew 3-3 at Barnoldswick Town to kick off their campaign.

FIRST DIVISION NORTH

AFC Liverpool and Pilkington both suffered losses on the opening day, so who will come out on top when they meet at the Marine Travel Arena on Wednesday evening.

Bacup Borough are another side coming off the back of a defeat - a 3-1 loss to Daisy Hill - and they'll look to put things right against Luke Evans' AFC Darwen who thrashed Holker Old Boys 6-1 on Saturday.

Emley AFC lost their first NWCFL game 3-1 away at Lower Breck, and they host their first home game in the division when a Chaddeton side - who beat St Helens Town 3-2 last weekend - arrive.

Garstang and Steeton clash after being on either end of a 2-1 result earlier in the week; Shelley defetaed Garstang 2-1 while Steeton claimed three points with a 2-1 win over AFC Blackpool.

FIRST DIVISION SOUTH

After West Didsbury & Chorlton put four past them without reply on Saturday, Eccleshall welcome an FC Oswestry Town team to Pershall Park who also put four unanswered goals in against Abbey Hulton United in their opening match.

Abbey Hulton face a trip to Stone Old Alleynians who drew 1-1 with Cheadle Heath Nomads on opening day.

THURSDAY 8TH AUGUST: FIRST DIVISION NORTH

Gary Moore's Lower Breck team picked up a 3-1 win on Saturday and they'll host an Atherton LR side who picked up a point away at Nelson on the weekend.

Holker Old Boys suffered a 6-1 loss in their opening game and they travel to St Helens Town, who lost 3-2 at Chadderton to kick off their season.
