AFC Darwen - the club has received confirmation that they have passed their "Annual Health Check" for 2018, in relation to their FA Charter Standard Community status.

The accreditation for an FA Charter Standard Community Club is the most advanced level of club development and football provision.

FA Community Clubs must have at least ten teams, male and female football provision, a Mini-Soccer team, an advanced development plan, and stage at least one workshop per season to improve behaviour.

The club must also have a schools co-ordinator and volunteer co-ordinator, at least one coach needs to have completed the specialist youth coaching module 2, and one club official must have attended an FA mentoring course.

Winsford United - the Blues now have County Cup ties arranged on successive weeks, following re-arrangement of postponed ties at the St Lukes Barton Stadium.

The Cheshire Senior Cup First Round tie against Warrington Town will be played on Monday 29th January.  This means the scheduled Premier Division game at Irlam will now take place on Wednesday 31st January, moving back a day from the original Tuesday date.

The Mid-Cheshire Senior Cup Semi Final against 1874 Northwich is now scheduled for Thursday 8th February, but it should be noted this fixture is provisional and is dependent on the outcome of 1874 Northwich's FA Vase tie against Chichester City on Saturday 3rd February.

1874 Northwich - supporters will have the chance to quiz joint-managers Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison at a ‘Meet the Managers’ evening on Wednesday 31 January in the Foyer Bar at the Memorial Court, Northwich, CW9 5QJ.  The bar will be open from 7pm and the event will start at 7.30pm.

Also, on hand will be members of the Board, who will be happy to answer any general questions supporters may have about 1874.

Widnes - the Liverpool Senior Cup semi-final tie against Marine has been rearranged for Tuesday 13th February (7.45pm).

The game had been originally scheduled for Monday 15th January at the Select Security Stadium, but it was brought forward to Monday 8th January to avoid any clash with Marine's FA Trophy tie at Dover Athletic, switching venue to the Marine Travel Arena in the process.

The cup tie will now be played at the Marine Travel Arena, three days following Widnes' Hallmark Security League Premier Division clash at home to Barnton.
