Maine Road have announced that manager Chris Hirst has stepped down due to work commitments.
A club statement said: "Maine Road would like to thank Chris for all his hard work during his time as manager.
"John Morrey, a former joint manager, and Derek Barber have been placed in temporary of first team affairs".
