Sandbach United host Holker Old Boys at the Sandbach Community Football Stadium in the second leg of the Reusch Division One Cup Semi-Final. The home side hold all of the cards at this point having travelled to Holker a fortnight ago and recorded an impressive 3-1 first leg win.
Early signs were good for Holker in the last leg as John-Paul Stanway put them ahead on the hour mark. However a swift response with goals from Boris Melingui on 67 and 72 minutes gave Sandbach a lead, that lead was strengthened right at the end of the game by Melingui getting his hat-trick.
Last weekend, Holker's game against St Helens was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch whilst Sandbach fought out a 3-3 battle at Daisy Hill.
The winner of this tie overall will face City of Liverpool at a venue to be announced shortly.
