Litherland Remyca have announced this week the appointment of David Brindle to the REMYCA Media team as their new Media Officer. David (Pictured left alongside Chairman, Don Rimmer) is a full time Student at the UFCB Eithiad campus in Manchester, a University that a number of Hallmark Security League clubs have had applications from in the past. Davis specialises in multi media Sports Journalism and will be a tremendous asset in developing the Media Officer role for the Sefton club.
REMYCA Chairman Don Rimmer, commented on the appointment stating "We are delighted to have appointed a Volunteer of David's calibre to our Media Officer position. It is a positive arrangement for all parties as Dave be able to develop a portfolio of work and establish a network within non-league football, the club benefits from a talented and passionate young journalist looking to broaden his experience and make a favourable impression. David will commence in the role immediately and will work alongside REMY Media team members to understand all aspects of the role whilst bringing his own creative ideas and expertise. We think he will get on will on the Hallmark Security League family as well as maintaining the strong links and profile we have with local and regional media organisations. All at the club extend a warm welcome to Dave".
Speaking of his new role, David is clearly relishing the challenge. "I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed to the role of Media Officer at Litherland Remyca. I have been searching for opportunities to gain experience in this field and this role is perfect for me to learn and develop my skills. After meeting with club chairman, Don Rimmer, Club Secretary Dave Evans and the former club media officer Gary Langley, who left the role last summer, I was amazed by the support on offer and immediately felt a part of the club. I hope I can continue the fantastic work already being done and take it to the next level. I look forward to meeting everyone at the club and can't wait to get started!"
