Hallmark Security League Division One Player of the Month for August, Michael Boyle was presented with his award over the weekend by League Development Officer, Gary Langley.
In the six games he played in August, he received three man of the match nominations, scoring four goals and was instrumental in the run of games that saw Remyca top the table by the turn of the month.
He is described by the club as an influential player who has the ability to turn games around and a workhorse. He is a character in the dressing room and after receiving the award yesterday he was quick to praise his team-mates.
"It's great to receive individual awards but whilst it is nice to be acknowledged by the club and the league I would also like to thank my team-mates. We have had a good start to the campaign beating some traditionally tough sides as well as a couple of teams we normally struggle against so we have momentum which we have carried over to this month too. This will look great on my mantlepiece and I would like to thank the League and Macron for the award."
