1874 Northwich manager Wayne Goodison, "Difficult conditions made the game quite scrappy at times. We felt that as long as we matched Runcorns endeavour in the first half and stayed in the game, we may be able to put them under concerted pressure in the second.
"Having then scored early we put plenty of effort in but ultimately couldn't quite force more clear cut chances. In the end, I thought our players were excellent in their approach to the game and it's another point onto our total and a continuation of our current good run of form. "
Runcorn Town manager Paul McManus, "Superb again today and really should have been three points in my eyes. We shut off from a set-piece which allowed them to equalise but apart from that they didn’t trouble us.
"We have made massive improvements of late and already looking forward to Wednesday's big game. "
| Avro | 0-1 | Litherland REMYCA |
Litherland REMYCA manager Phil Stafford, "Great performance today from the lads. We were good value for the win.
"We dictated the game for 70-75 minutes. Avro came back at us for the last 15 minutes but we dug in and earned a big three points.
"Pleasing to get a clean sheet."

Ashton Athletic manager Dougie Pitts," An outstanding performance and outstanding result from the lads. We keep saying it, but at this stage of the season it's the three points that matter and whether it's 1-0 or 4-0 we will take it.
"Our counter-attack in the first half was impressive and we managed to catch Bootle cold early in the game with two goals inside the first ten minutes.
"The second half was all about a clean sheet and with the way we defended we thought we were worthy of it with our 'Keeper not having to make any memorable saves.
"Unfortunately it has come at a bit of cost as it looks like we are going to lose Adam for some time with a fractured eye socket and Charlie Munro has picked up what looks like a nasty ankle injury. Both have been unreal for us this season."
| Charnock Richard | 0-1 | Burscough |
Burscough manager Nick Matthews, "It was a great performance from the boys, they grafted for the whole game against a very good Charnock side in testing conditions. This last week has proven that if you bring in the right players into the squad and they are willing to run, tackle and put bodies on the line for each other, then results will come.
"We got a great point at home against Longridge in midweek and we carried that belief into today's "Over the Hill Derby" as it's known to the locals. I thought Mitch Kinsella and Luke Gibson played very well today up against two very good strikers, that have over 40 goals between them. Kevin Pollard was superb throughout, a great leader on the pitch, the run and finish from substitute Joel Douglas was good enough to win any game.
"The win was very important as REMYCA won also, with other results going our way we climb up out from the bottom two places for the first time in a long while. We will continue to work hard and take each game one by one and hopefully keep picking up the points along the way."
| Irlam | 1-0 | Hanley Town |
Irlam manager Michael Dodd, "At the end, it felt that we were more relieved to pick up the 3 points than anything! After an unbelievable start to the season, we have been stuck in a real rut. We deserved so much more at Rylands in the week and to come away with nothing was another blow to us.
"Hanley was full of energy and made it difficult for us. They will feel they haven’t had the luck today, with 2 efforts coming back off the crossbar. They will certainly win games playing like they did today.
"To go 1-0 up in the first half was so important and then we managed to see out a tense final 10/15 minutes to secure the win. Our centre-halves were as solid as you can get. The group is now buzzing again, we must kick on in the league but first, we are looking forward to FC United away on Tuesday night!"
| Rylands | 2-1 | Squires Gate |
Rylands manager David McNabb," Very tough game today against a big strong side in Squires Gate. We started brilliantly and should of be 3 or 4 up at HT.
"Full respect to Squires Gate who came out second half and played well. They caused us problems and got the equaliser.
"The lads showed huge character following the equaliser and a brilliant finish from Lewis Buckley secured the three points."

| Winsford United | 0-0 | Longridge Town |
Winsford United manager Lee Duckworth, "I am disappointed not to take three points against probably the best side we've played this year.
"I thought we had the better of the chances and were disappointed the official ruled out the goal we scored. Longridge was a class act and good luck to them."
