Once again, the weather ruined what was set out to be a superb midweek festival of fixtures in the NWCFL - with just six games going ahead.
Monday saw just the one game, as Maine Road and Cheadle Town thrashed out a 2-2 draw in the First Division South - Jamie Roe equalising for the home side in the 88th minute.
Just 24 hours later, Rylands left it late to defeat Irlam in a tight affair, whilst Burscough and Longridge Town drew 1-1, and an epic 7-goal thriller saw Congleton Town come out with all three points following a 4-3 victory over Litherland REMYCA.
In the First Division North, both Prestwich Heys and Emley AFC kept their streak going of not losing as they drew 0-0 with 100 spectators watching on.
Wednesday evening saw just one game scheduled as Barnton were mean to play Stockport Town but this was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
The action in the NWCFL returns on Friday evening as Golcar host St Helens Town (Playing at Avro) in the NWCFL First Division North (8:00pm kick-off). Then on Saturday, 27 other fixtures occur across the three divisions.
