1874 Northwich - supporters of the Greens responded to a call for help from their friends at Mid Cheshire Foodbank by very quickly coming together to raise much needed donations.
1874 Community Development spokesman Steve Richardson expaliend: "The Foodbank had indicated that as the summer school holidays began, the demand for their service increased greatly.
"Whilst many may think that the winter months would put the greatest strain on the Foodbanks resources, it is during the period of school holidays that many families find the additional meals required a strain.
"Within a few days of determining a need, the club's Community team had put out the call for help to our supporters who responded by donating over 150kg of produce"
Northwich Victoria - Vics have announced that the former England and Arsenal star Paul Merson will be the star speaker at a Sportsman's Dinner evening on the Thursday 25th October 2018 at Wincham Park, home of Vics landlords Witton Albion.
The full evening starts at 7.30pm and includes popular Liverpool comedian Sean Styles, and is compered by MC Andy Ashworth. Tickets are priced at £40 and a full 3 course meal is included in that price, and must be booked in advance.
