Prestwich Heys:

Prestwich have continued their series of ground improvements and having recently brought in a JCB to unearth their Car Park and do some repair work they are also working around the facility.  A working party put together by Janice Hyde got together last weekend working on the perimiter of the clubs premises doing general horticultural housekeeping and front of house tidying.

Ashton Athletic:

At this time of year vandals are particularly rife and at Brocstedes Park, Ashton Athletic were recently targeted again with local vandals damaging advertising boards and perimiter hoardings.  Prestwich Heys have also had problems with tresspassers and it's not a victimless crime, Ashton Athletics ground staff have had to sort out the mess using time that could have been used for other club projects.

Remyca Remember:

Litherland Remyca Club President, Kenny Edwards has thanked club players past and present who turned out for a memorial game last weekend for club founder Billy Edwards.  The game against a Star Club XI side included Nick Edwards (Bills son) and several Remyca faces from the clubs history has turned into an annual event.
