Nelson's 7-4 win over New Mills at Little Wembley on Saturday was the ninth time in League history that a team has won by that score at home in a league game.

The other instances were as follows.

The score has also been recorded twice in away games - on the 25th August 1992 by Burnley Bank Hall at Castleton Gabriels in Division 2, and also on the 14th August 1999 by Leek CSOB at Maine Road in a Division One game.
