1874 Northwich - anyone looking for a novel Christmas present for the 1874 fan in their life can surprise them on the 25th with an 1874 Northwich jigsaw.

A number of designs are already available, although the club say any 1874 picture can be used.  The jigsaws are A3 size and cost £8.

St Helens Town - The club’s Sunday team and Under 21s outfit made their home debuts last Sunday in the Liverpool and District Sunday League and Cheshire FA U21s League respectively at the new Ruskin Drive complex, and the club's Under 18s side will also begin playing there next month. All the club's teams are now using the facility for training, and once necessary improvements are made, first team fixtures can then be hosted.

Ashton Athletic - the Yellows Under 18's side secured their place in a fourth successive Lancashire County FA Youth Cup semi final by beating Ladybridge FC 4-0 in their quarter final.

They will now face Chorley Under 18s in the semi final in January.  The Yellows Under 18s sides have won the competition for the last three seasons.

Prestwich Heys - Former QPR, Manchester City and England star Stan Bowles was a special guest at Heys home game with AFC Blackpool at the end of November.

Bowles made 565 appearances in his career, and started his career at City in 1967 but left after a falling out with Malcolm Allison.

He is best remembered for his time at QPR where he made 315 appearances, scoring 97 goals and he made five appearances for England scoring once.

Sadly, Stan now suffers from Alzhiemers but still enjoys his football and posed for a picture with the Heys team before the game.
