Ashton Athletic - the club have teamed up with the Rotary Club of Ashton-in-Makerfield and Haydock to present a night of fireworks and entertainment on 5th November. As well as a firework display there is live music form local band Museum.
Food and drink will be available from the clubhouse and a raffle, where the winner will press the button setting off the Firework Display.
Limited parking is available, but parking on the main roads and walking to the club is advisable. Tickets at £5 are available from Ashton Athletic at Brocstedes Park.
Atherton Collieries - Colls have announced they will soon be launching a club Podcast, which will be known as ‘Parallel Lines’. An announcement on the club website said it will be "bursting with monthly analysis and discussion about all things Colls for you, the fans".
Hosted by Zach Pierce, Joe Gibbons and Emil Anderson, the Club hopes it will provide extra insight to the goings on within the Kensite. Episode One will be on its way soon.
Spot kick stats - Barnton are the only Premier Division club who have yet to score from a penalty kick this season. Four clubs in Division One have also still to break their duck from the spot - AFC Blackpool, Chadderton, Eccleshall and Holker Old Boys.
Squires Gate have the highest number of players to have hit the back of the net from the penalty spot, with four players having scored this season - Mark Buchan, Joe Noblet, Ric Seear and Brett Dawson.
Player registrations and transfers - a weekly list of transfers and registrations will be published from this week on the league website on Friday afternoons. As many will be aware, this was a regular feature that has run for many years, but the previous method of extracting the information was rendered invalid when the company running the previous registrations system indicated that it would not be available for use this season.
A new player registrations system had to be developed at short notice over the summer, but work has been completed and reports can now be produced, so the information will be published on a weekly basis from now on.
Whitchurch Alport - a newly acquired club flag will now grace Alport games both at Yockings Park and elsewhere. Club Press Officer Martin Wild explained: "We wanted to make Yockings Park feel more like a football ground. We felt a flag would maybe make people feel more a part of it, with the footbal club's crest emblazoned on the national flag.
"It took two weeks to make and came from Northern Ireland. But it's a bit of a monster and you can't hang it up everywhere - so there are limits to where we can position it. At Yockings it's fine, as we have some metal fencing in one of the corners and it's a perfect fit.
"It's certainly been very well received by our supporters though and we're considering getting more".
