The League's Twitter account has been given a "blue tick" verification by the social media site.
In practice, the symbol is actually a white tick on a blue background, and is a mark of accreditation given to sites deemed to be in the public interest. It is also an official endorsement that ensures users know it is a genuine account and not a fake representing the organisation involved.
The League has been at forefront of using Twitter for some years, and apart from the National League's account, we are the only League from the National League System to achieve the blue tick recognition, and only the fourth football league in England to do so.
The League Twitter account reached the milestone of having 10,000 followers last month, meaning that we have more followers than any other Step 5 League across the country.
