Charity Match At Silver Street

Irlam FCÂ will be hosting a challenge match against FC United of Manchester this coming Thursday evening, 25th November, in aid of the appeal fund for the victims of the recent gas explosion in Irlam.
The fund has been set up to help all those who suffered in the recent explosion, which occurred just a few hundred yards from the football ground in Silver Street, and proceeds from the game on Thursday evening will go directly to the fund.
Irlam Football Club offered the use of their facilities to the emergency services who attended the scene, and once again are playing their part in supporting the members of the local community through the hosting of the fixture.
Irlam Secretary Warren Dodd said:Â "We hope that as many people as possible will come along and support this important fund raiser, in recognition of our local people who have suffered due to the recent events."
Kick off time for the game is 7.45 pm, and admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children and senior citizens.
