AFC Liverpool topped the first league table of the season after a 4-1 win at Squires gate. They fell behind to Theodore Ball's early goal, however turned it round before half time with goals from Tom Douglas and William McCarthy. Further goals from Ben Cartwright and Richard Wincer as the Reds opened in style.

Wythenshawe Town got off to a good start with a 3-1 win at Irlam. Max Leonard opened the scoring on 20 minutes, with second-half goals from Aaron Dwyer and Jordan Burton making it 3-0. Lewis Holt hit a consolation for the home side with six minutes remaining.

Also winning 3-1 was Barnoldswick Town at home to Winsford united. It was Robbie Hatton who opened the scoring for the visitors on 19 minutes with Gareth Hill levelling in first-half stoppage time. Daniel Fagan put Barlick ahead with Kuda Chingwaro securing the win in second-half stoppage time.

There was a thrilling game at Charnock Richard with six goals shared. A Ben Hoskin penalty and one from Joel Brownhill so Padiham in control with 20 minutes remaining. A Nathan Nickeas penalty pulled one back with Carl Grimshaw levelling five minutes from time. Matty Boland then put Padiham ahead with two minutes remaining before Simon grand levelled once more for the home side.

Prestwich Hayes got off to a great start with a 3 nil win at home to Burscough. Reon Benjamin Potts, Mitchell Bryant and Connor Berry scoring were on target for Prestwich. Kendal's return to the NWCFL saw them lose 2-0 at Vauxhall Motors with Lewis Buckley and Ethan Gouldbourne on target for the home side.

Longridge Town beat Congleton Town 2-1 with Connor Newton and and a Ben Fletcher penalty putting them 2-0 up. A Tom Hampson goal with eight minutes remaining made it an nervy finish but Longridge held on.

Three games were settled by a solitary goal with Lower Breck winning at FC Isle of Man thanks to Michael Monaghan's 12 minute goal. A Liam Ellis goal just before the hour saw Afro win at Northwich Victoria, whilst Lewis Gilboy was on target for Bury AFC as they beat Litherland REMYCA.

Newcomers Euxton Villa got off to a great start with a 3-2 win at Bacup Borough. Callum Speed, Nathan Parish and Patrik Bibby put them three ahead before goals from Lewis-Simon Byrne and a Ryan Siddle penalty made it a nervous last 15 minutes.

Fellow newcomers FC St Helens went ahead in their game at Atherton LR through Joe Barker, but had to settle for a point as Dylan Wagster levelled in a 1-1 draw.

The biggest win of the day came at Steeton with Luke Baldwin scoring a hat-trick in his side's 6-1 win over cleator Moor Celtic. An Omar Anjum put the home side 2-0 ahead with Baldwin and Andrew Briggs making it four at the break. Baldwin completed his hat-trick in the second half with Callum Birdsall getting a consolation.

Another hat-trick came at Pilkington through Christopher Lomax. He put his side 2-0 ahead with Bruno De Almeida Severino adding another before Colm Lynch pulled one back in first-half stoppage time. Lomax's treble was complete on 48 minutes with Adam Gilchrist making it 5-1. The only surprise was no further goals in the remaining 37 minutes of the game.

Daisy Hill had a good 4-2 away win at South Liverpool although they had to do it the hard way. Christopher Wilkinson and Mason Nevitt put the home side 2-0 ahead after just seven minutes and that's how it was at half time. Whatever Leighton Mills said at the break worked wonders as two from Jamie Ramwell and one each from Lee Grimshaw and Kieran Nolan gave them a good away win.

Ilkley Town also had a good away win, with Jack Lane, Thomas Smith and Shaban Mehmeti on target in a 3-0 win at Darwen FC. Also scoring three was Garstang, who fell behind to a Jack Foster goal on 19 minutes. However three goals in the last 18 minutes from Cameron Ross, Andrew Murphy and Aaron Quigley turned things around for them.

Chadderton also hit three at home, this against Holker Old Boys. Jason Walker put Holker ahead with Harry Dean levelling. Sam Joel restored Holker's lead at the start of the second half with Adam Dale levelling, and it was Dale who hit the winner in a 3-2 win five minutes from time.

The remaining game finished 1-1 between Runcorn Town and AFC Blackpool. Chad Whyte put Runcorn ahead on 23 minutes with Josh Winder replying five minutes before the break.

Again we will start with the newcomers with Ashville stunning last seasons play-off semi-finalists Abbey Hey with a 4-0 win. Thomas Johnstone was the hero for the home side as he netted all four goals in his first NWCFL game.

Foley Meir also won on their debut at Cheadle Heath Nomads. Jack Taylor put Cheadle ahead after three minutes with Tristen Barker replying on 35 minutes. A draw looked likely until Aidan Lloyd's free kick two minutes into stoppage time gave Foley all three points.

Stockport Georgians were the third new side in action but they went down 3-1 at home to Brockton. After a goalless first half, Regan Smith put Brocton ahead on 56 minutes with Tom Russell levelling seven minutes later. However further goals from Cameron Osborne and Charlie King gave Brockton a 3-1 win.

Biggest win of the day was Sandbach United over Rocester, but they fell behind to a Gregory Large goal after 20 minutes. Joel Jones levelled to make it 1-1 at the break but Sandbach went goal crazy in the second-half as a George West double (one a penalty), Matthew Russell, Stanley Tatters and Ryan Rogers made it 6-1.

Wythenshawe Amateurs are many people's tip to do well this season, and they won 4-0 against Alsager Town. Sam Dickov put them ahead after 5 minutes, with a Charles Duke double and one from Arron Hevingham giving the scoreline a one-sided look.

New Mills were last season's play off finalists and they won 4-2 at Stafford Town. Darren McKnight put the Millers ahead after just six minutes, before Josh Oultram and Henry Smith turn things around with just 10 minutes on the clock. Adam Muir levelled for the Millers, and second-half goals from Akim Samms and Finley Rorke gave them the win.

Ellesmere Rangers beat Maine Road 2-1. A Steven Hole penalty put them ahead with Yousif Tousif levelling before William Evans hit the winner just before half time. Eccleshall beat Cammell Laird 1907 1-0 with Adam Blaise getting the only goal, while Stockport Town won 1-0 at Barnton, William Calligan on target for them.
