League Statistician Kevin Lawton takes a look at the weekends events which have produced League Milestones

League Milestones

With the Buildbase FA Vase taking centre stage there were only a few milestones hit this week Barnton’s win at home to Brocton saw them score their 200 th home league goal. St Helen’s heavy defeat at Campion saw them concede their 2700 th away goal in their 761 st away game and finally, Vauxhall Motors conceded their 300 th away goal in the defeat at Longridge.

Goal Heroes (League and Cup)
Jack Coop of Prestwich Heys netted four of his sides 7 as they hammered Brigg Town in the FA Vase, it was also his second hat-trick in successive weekends, while Kyle Schorah hit his and AFC Liverpool’s first as they beat New Mills in the Vase.
Bradley Williams notched South Liverpool’s first hat-trick of the season as they beat Dronfield 4-1 in the clubs first ever appearance in the Vase.

Who are the league game clean sheet specialists???
In the Prem Macclesfield have four so far, followed by Congleton, Irlam and Longridge with three each.
In Division One South, Cheadle Town and West Didsbury and Chorlton have five each, closely followed by Abbey Hey and New Mills with four apiece.
Defensive have been less on top in Division One North. Bacup Borough lead so far with three followed by five teams on two: Ashton Town, Bury AFC, Chadderton, Golcar and Holker OB.
