The venues for the 2019/20 Cup Finals can now be announced following today's Semi Finals.

In the Macron Cup, 1874 Northwich had five different goalscorers in a 6-1 victory over Shelley, with the visitors not helped with the sending off of their keeper in the first half for handball outside the box. They will face Runcorn Town in the Final, their Premier Division rivals progressing on Friday evening after a 4-2 penalty shoot out win over AFC Liverpool. The game was a 3-3 thriller, the Reds twice leading in that game before equalising on 90 minutes.

In the First Division Cup, First Division North side AFC Liverpool were already in the Final after their opponents FC Oswestry Town resigned from the league. They will face First Division South Sandbach United in the Final after Josh Lane's goal saw them to a 1-0 win in the Second Leg of their Semi Final against Wythenshawe Town.

That gave them a 3-1 aggregate win after they won in the First Leg on Saturday 14th March. We are wondering whether this is a World Record in terms of time taken between a two legged Semi Final. Does anybody have Guinness' number?

League Officials were at the Sandbach game in order to conduct a draw after the game for the Final venues.

The First Division Cup Final will be the first of our finals, and this will take place on Saturday 12th September 2020 at the Sandbach Community Football Centre, Sandbach. With FA Cup and FA Vase matches taking place, we have to wait until the end of the month for the Macron Cup Final, and this will take place on Saturday 26th September 2020 at the Viridor Community Stadium, Runcorn.
