It is with great sadness that we have been informed by Abbey Hey FC that their popular committee member Vinny Connor passed away on Thursday evening.
 
Vinny was well known on the non-league scene in Manchester, and was a familiar face at all Abbey Hey home games. Vinny passed away almost three weeks after the passing of his beloved wife Pauline.
 
Everyone at the league would like to pass on our condolences to Abbey Hey and the Connor family, in particular Vinny's daughter Collete and grandson Jaz.
