Following the Disciplinary Committee meeting on Wednesday 4th December 2019, NWCFL Premier Division side Charnock Richard have been deducted three points in relation to League Rule 6.9 of playing an ineligible player whilst under suspension on 12/11/2019 during their 3-1 victory over Bootle 1.

League Rule 6.9 states:

"Any Club found to have played an ineligible Player in a match or matches shall have any points gained from that match or matches deducted from its record, up to a maximum of 12 points, and have levied upon it a fine. The Board may also order that such match or matches be replayed on such terms as are decided by the Board which may also levy penalty points against the Club in default."

The case had been proven by Lancashire FA. Therefore, the Committee have no alternative but to apply the penalty as per League Rule 6.9 as the club have not satisfied the Board/Committee that they could not have reasonably known of the player's ineligibility.

Charnock  Richard subsequently have had 3 points deducted from the Clubs playing record.

The club has the right of appeal to The Football Association as per League Rule 16.4.
