PREMIER DIVISION - Former Litherland REMYCA manager Paul McNally returns to Litherland Sports Park as Skelmersdale United manager on Wednesday evening when the two sides clash in the league on Wednesday evening.

REMYCA are still searching for their first league win after a 0-0 draw at Hanley Town, while McNally's current side suffered their first league defeat on Saturday away at Northwich Victoria.

Vics will look to carry on from their win on Saturday when they travel to a Runcorn Town team who defeated Bootle 2-0 last time out.

Avro are chasing their first victory of the campaign after being on the end of a 5-0 drubbing from Rylands at the weekend, and they host Barnoldswick Town who overcame Ashton Athletic last time out thanks to a James Crorken finish.

Ahead of their FA Cup clash on Saturday, Charnock Richard will travel to Longridge Town on Wednesday evening.

Longridge are three points off the top three after a 3-1 away win over Congleton Town last weekend, while Charnock look to bounce back from their 5-0 mauling away at league leaders 1874 Northwich.

FIRST DIVISION NORTH -

Winless Pilkington face a tough task when league-leaders Lower Breck arrive at the Arcoframe on Wednesday night.

A win for Lower Breck puts them four points clear at the summit, while Pilkington will look to get a victory before they lose further ground on the teams above them.

Brent Peters' Bacup Borough are yet to notch a point in their campaign so far and will be looking for victory when they host Nelson who have lost two of their opening four in the league.

Steeton and Cleator Moor Celtic - both on four points and both defeated on Saturday away from home - meet on Wednesday as they chase their second win of the season.

FIRST DIVISION SOUTH -

Ellesmere Rangers may have felt they'd secured their first point of the season on Saturday when they equalised late on against table-topping Vauxhall Motors, however, the visitors grabbed a late winner to take three points.

Eccleshall are three points ahead of Rangers and could make it six with a victory when they face off at Pershall Park.
