1874 Northwich are top of the Premier Division on goal difference and will look to stay there after their trip to a Charnock Richard on Saturday who have won one of their opening league fixtures.

Whitchurch Alport are one of the teams just behind 1874 with a 100% league record, and they're aiming to pick up three points on the road against Padiham who lost to the league leaders in the first game.

Rylands - the third team occupying the promotion spots with three wins - host Avro who are yet to win a game this season.

Squires Gate are yet to win a league game yet and they are set to face Winsford United who beat Burscough in their only league victory this season.

Burscough welcome an unbeaten Irlam on Saturday after both sides progressed in the FA Cup last weekend.

Skelmersdale United and Northwich Victoria both advanced in the FA Cup after midweek replays and are set to clash at Wincham Park in league action this weekend.

The FA Cup was on display at The Mike Riding Ground when Longridge Town went through to the Preliminary Round, but it's an away trip this weekend to a Congleton Town side who are winless so far and lost their FA Cup replay away at Hellenic League club, Westfields in midweek.

Barnoldswick Town were the team dumped out of the cup by Longridge on Saturday and they welcome Ashton Athletic who's cup journey also halted at the hands of Irlam.

Bootle seek their first victory of the season when they travel to Runcorn Town, who have won one of their two league games and put Rylands out of the FA Cup last weekend.

Hanley Town are yet to add points to their tally after a point on opening day, and welcome Phil Stafford's Litherland REMYCA who beat Avro 4-3 in cup action on Saturday.
