Ramsbottom United's 1-0 win over Winsford United on Tuesday evening set a new record for the club.
As the Rams completed a four day double over the Cheshire side, having beaten them 2-0 at the Barton Stadium the previous Saturday, they also created a new club record of seven successive victories (six of which were in the League), the best winning sequence of results they have achieved since entering the North West Counties League in 1994.
