Lairds Appoint Stuart Keir

Division One South Club Cammell Laird 1907 have appointed Stuart Keir as their new First Team Manager. The experienced gaffer joins, having previously held managerial positons at fellow NWCFL sides Litherland Remyca and AFC Liverpool.
Cammell Laird 1907 have released the following statement:
Cammell Laird 1907 are delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Keir as our new First Team Manager with immediate effect.
Following a protracted recruitment process due to Covid restrictions, Stuart arrives with a strong reputation for developing young players, and has had previous management positions at Litherland REMYCA and AFC Liverpool.
Speaking after his appointment, new manager Stuart Keir said:
"First and foremost I am absolutely delighted to be named manager of Cammell Laird 1907 Football Club. It is a Club rich with tradition that I am proud to be part of - the hard work starts now."
After identifying the ideal candidate for the challenge of taking the Club forward, Lairds Chairman Lee Atherton commented:
"Following an exhaustive selection process, I would like to thank all Lairds supporters, staff and players for their patience while the search for a new manager has been carried out. As a Club we are delighted to have Stuart on board. Stuart's record of identifying, promoting and developing young players was a major factor in him becoming the new manager. Moving forward, we want to develop young players from the area and give them the opportunity to play first team football at Cammell Laird 1907 Football Club."
An announcement with regards to Stuart's backroom staff will follow shortly.
