In the Emrirates FA Cup First Round draw that was carried out in East London this evening, Premier Division Skelmersdale United were drawn away at League opposition in the form of League Two Harrogate Town.

The draw was screened live on BBC Two on Monday evening and featured interviews with Manager Paul McNally and Skem striker Emini Adegbenro.  This is Skelmersdale United first appearance at this stage in the competition for 50 Years.

Harrogate Town who were recently promoted to The Football League have had a steady rise through the non-league pyramid and secured their place in the Football League with a win over Notts County in the Promotion Play-off final at Wembley at the beginning of August.  They have been Managed by Simon Weaver since 2009 and he has been in charge of them for 530 games and has guided them through two promotions.

The games will take place over the weekend of 7th November and we wish Skelmersdale the best of luck!
