This Friday, May 13th, a Dutch International Legends squad captained by Arjan de Zeeuw take on a Wigan Athletic Legends side in a charity game at Ashton Town, for local charity Joseph's Goal.

Arry will be joined by an unbelievable squad which is packed full of Premier League experience, as well as a mountain of Dutch international caps.

Scheduled to play are Denny Landzaat, Jorg Smeets (both Wigan), Michael Mols (Rangers), Glenn Helder (Arsenal), Sander Westerveld, Jan Krompkamp (both Liverpool), Martijn Reuser (Ipswich), Andre Ooijer (Blackburn), Clyde Wijnhard (Leeds), Tim De Cler (Ajax), Patrick Paauwe (Feyenoord), and Orlando Engelaar (PSV).

All will be taking on a Latics Legends side full of major names from Wigan's rise up the divisions.

Ex England internationals Emile Heskey and Chris Kirkland will be playing, along with the current Everton Manager Roberto Martinez, FA Cup winners Emmerson Boyce and Paul Scharner, all time top goal scorer Andy Liddell, and then the likes of Graeme Jones, Kevin Sharp, Stuart Barlow, Nathan Ellington, John Filan, Michael Brown, Ian Kilford, Neil Roberts, Alan Mahon, Graham Kavanagh, Jason Jarrett, Nicky Eaden and Neil Rimmer.

Town Chairman Mark Hayes added: "I hosted a Joseph's Goal game back in May last year and it was a simply stunning event in many ways. To get so many big names at my football club, and to assist to raise so much money was an honour to be part of.

"To top that event would always take some doing, however the Dutch players whom are flying in are absolutely ridiculous, added, to have the likes of Emile Heskey and Paul Scharner walk out at Ashton Town for Wigan is near unimaginable. This is going to be one simply amazing jaw dropping event that I want all NWCFL clubs to be proud of".

Tickets are just £10 for adults and £5 for Under-16s, with Under-6s getting in free, and are available from the DW Stadium ticket office in person, or via 0871 6633552 and www.wiganathletic.com/tickets .
