St Helens Town - The life of club Trustee Eric Bond is to be commemorated this season following the stalwart’s recent death.

The committee have decided to purchase a new Youth Team Player of the Year trophy which will be named ‘The Eric Bond Memorial Trophy’ and which will be presented to the U18s Player of the Year for the first time at the club’s presentation evening on Friday 6th May 2016. 

Eric will join former players Bert Trautmann, Bill Foulkes and Tommy O’Neil whose time and association with Town are also commemorated at the club’s annual awards evening.
 
Club historian Glyn Jones and John McKiernan are also working with Eric's family to start to catalogue and archive his vast collection of personal and club memorabilia, which relates his playing career, the clubs he played for as well as his time with the St Helens Combination and Liverpool County FA. 

Winsford United - the Blues have announced that Stephen Pardoe will take over the position of as club Vice-Chairman, with immediate effect.  Steve is well known in local Non-League circles having spent many years as a top Non-League Referee.

Secretary Bob Astles said “It’s been tough going since Chairman Mark Loveless has been unable to commit himself fully to the affairs of the club, and having someone else to share the various trials and tribulations will be a massive help.

"Dave Taylor did a fantastic job as the previous Vice-Chairman and it was a big disappointment when he said he was unable to continue in the position, however, Steve is the ideal replacement”.

Abbey Hey - the club will be hosting the North West "Champion of Champions" Sunday Cup Competition on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May.  Moss Side (Manchester Amateur Sunday League) will face Cale Green (Stockport Sunday League) at the Abbey Stadium, kick off 11 am.

Barnton - the Villagers' Ryan Malone made his 100th appearance for the club in their 1-1 draw at Bacup Borough last Saturday.

Squires Gate - holders of a season ticket for any Fylde coast football club will get a discount on admission to the game against Runcorn Linnets.  Prices will be £4 for adults and £2 for concessions for holders of a valid 2015/16 season ticket.
