Offers Of Help Appreciated By Eccleshall

Officials at Eccleshall have been both heartened and grateful for the offers of help that they have received, since the recent break in at the club's Adverc Stadium.
Over the weekend of the 15th January, the door at the entrance was forced and bent for the thieves to gain entry, and two mowers and hydraulic equipment for lowering the floodlight columns were stolen, along with stock from the club house.
Club secretary Jim Tunney said: "After the news broke, we received many messages of support.
"Target Windows of Stone got in touch and have donated a door to replace the one damaged at the time of the unwelcome raid on our clubhouse. We are grateful to Michael Tune and Ken Roberts (himself a former manager of the club back in the late '80s and early '90s) of Target for their support at this time.
"Additionally, committee member, Neil Washington and player, Mark Hall, have donated the blockwork needed to fit the new door and both contributions will help to make the building more secure.
The club have also set up a Crowdfunding /JustGiving page to try and raise much needed funds towards repairs, the replacement of stolen equipment and security measures.
Jim said: "Everyone knows how costly it can be to run clubs at our level, where every penny counts. The additional unnecessary expense that the break in has caused is a real problem to us. I know that our colleagues at Colne and Silsden have gone down a similar path, and any donations from the non-league family out there would be both welcomed and appreciated".
