AFC Blackpool have announced that the Gary Parkinson Charity game scheduled for this Wednesday 11th November has been cancelled due to the poor weather.
Club Secretary Billy Singleton explained: "We've seen so much rain falling on the playing surface, and with more rain forecast, it would be insane to expect anyone to play football on our pitch.
"We have, however, drawn a provisional date of April 24th 2016 to host the match".
