Mark Fell Leaves Nelson

Nelson have announced that Mark Fell has stepped down from the position of First Team Manager.
Fell leaves after three years in charge of The Admirals, during which he led them to the NWCFL First Division title in 2014.
Following the news, Chairman Fayyaz Ahmed and Chief Executive Adam Keizer have made the following statements.
Fayyaz Ahmed: "I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to Mark Fell for his outstanding contribution to the football club over the past three years.
"I would also like to thank Mark's coaching team and backroom staff, as well as Accross College who have all played an integral part in the progression of the football club over the past few seasons.
"During Mark's time here as manager we have become good friends and have always maintained an excellent relationship which I'm sure will continue. His achievements at Nelson Football Club are there for all to see and he leaves the club in it's best position for 50 years.
"I wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his continued support during this period of transition."
Chief Executive Adam Keizer echoed the Chairman's sentiments saying:
"Mark has left the club on good terms and has the full respect of everyone here at Nelson.
"During his time here he has transformed the club and set excellent standards on and off the field which we will now look to build upon.
"He's probably the most hard working manager I've ever met, and the challenge now is to use everything he has put in place here at Nelson to move the club forwards and continue to progress.
"I'm sure I speak on behalf of all our supporters and staff in thanking Mark for his commitment and achievements over the last 3 years, he'll be remembered here as one of the best managers in the club's history.
"For us, there will now be an interim period with Development Squad Manager Darrell Slater Smith taking caretaker charge of first team duties, supported by our U16's manager Alex Norwood, while we assess applications for the position of First Team Manager at Nelson Football Club."
