Town's Non-League Day Event
Tue 6th October 2015 | St Helens Town | By Ian Templeman
St Helens Town have announced that they will operate a "Pay What You Want" day this coming Saturday, when they host Chadderton at Brocstedes Park.
As part of the celebrations for Non-League Day on Saturday 10th October, the club’s admission charges of £5/£3 have been waived and supporters will be invited to pay what they want.
With no Premier League or Championship matches taking place, the club are hoping that football fans in the local area who would normally watch clubs at the top level of the game will take this opportunity to experience a match at Brocstedes Park.
Season passes remain valid as usual and registered players across the club's U18s, U21s and Sunday teams will be admitted free as usual but otherwise, spectators are free to pay whatever they feel for the Chadderton match. The clubhouse will be open throughout the day and the Tea Bar will offer the usual range of refreshments.
St Helens North MP Conor McGinn will be the guest as match ball sponsor on Non-League Day. The club will also be giving away a copy of the much anticipated Football Manager 2016, courtesy of Non-League Day and Sports Interactive. Town were selected as one of 50 clubs to receive the prize which will be won on Saturday 10th October.
The club will also be holding a half time raffle, helping to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK
