Bacup Borough Complete Presidential Signing

Bacup Borough completed the signing of their first Honorary President, Elizabeth Alker of BBC 6Music, at the home game with Atherton LR on Wednesday night.
Before the match, manager Brent Peters presented Elizabeth with her own Bacup Borough shirt. She has ben given squad number 21 for the rest of the season.
The match was her first visit to the Brian Boys West View Stadium and Elizabeth siad she really enjoyed the experience.
She said: "The Club has a great history behind it. It has a quaint clubhouse and Debra makes really tasty homemade pies.
"The game was good fun although we lost 2-3. However myself and my friends had the honour of meeting the Club Mascot, Pedro the Panda!"
Commenting on her first outing to the ground, Brent said: "I'm delighted that Elizabeth has chosen to get involved in supporting the Club.
"We look forward to working with her this season to help increase fan engagement and promote the link between arts and football".
