Litherland REMYCA have been shortlisted in the local Sports Club of the Year awards, which are organised by Sefton Sports Council, Merseyside Sports Partnership, and Active Sefton, the sport and leisure arm of Sefton MBC.
The annual awards ceremony takes place on July 8th at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre and will be attended by clubs covering an array of sports such as golf, archery, cricket and tennis as well as football.
REMYCA Media Officer Gary Langley said: "To be even shortlisted is a great achievement and is testimony to the development and progression at this club this last year.
"Our links with the wider community, our values as a club and the drive and determination of our great coaches, managers and volunteers has been recognised. This acknowledgement comes on the back of our Charter Standard Awards and raises our profile further".
