Winsford United - the club are involved in a charity event this coming Sunday, which will be raising funds for the Winsford Town Mayor's charities. The event, which is known as Walkabout Winsford 2015, comprises a five miles walk starting at the Barton Stadium and the club will be opening the ground and cafe for the walkers and providing changing facilities where needed.
Nelson - the Admirals have appointed Toxy Hussain as their new Head of Community Sport. Toxy, well known in the area as a cricketer with Nelson Cricket Club, will oversee all the club's community based programmes as part of their "Nelson FC In The Community" initiative.
Chief Executive Adam Keizer said: "It's important that as a football club we engage with the local community, provide role models for local youngsters, and promote sport for all ages, so it's fantastic that we can finally put our plans into action with Toxy at the helm".
1874 Northwich - Mike Brandon became the first player to score 50 goals for 1874 Northwich when he netted for the Greens in the 1-1 draw at Ashton Athletic on the 14th February. Mike also scored 1874's first competitive goal in the club's inaugural NWCFL game against Oldham Boro on 3rd August 2013, and has also scored 17 goals in friendlies for the club.
Chadderton - planning permission has now been granted for a new security fence around the ground, and work will commence shortly. Work has already begun on building a new training area, with further major development planned in the coming months.
West Didsbury & Chorlton - Manchester band Dutch Uncles launched their new album "O Shudder" at the Men United Cup quarter final tie against Bootle at Brookburn Road. The band took part in a half time penalty shoot out with fans, and the event was featured in publications as diverse as the Manchester Evening News and the NME.
Litherland REMYCA - the club have signed midfielder Lewis Jones from Ashton Town. Lewis played for Blackburn Rovers Youth side, before going to play in the US for a year, and then returned after his stint there to play at Edge Green Street. He put pen to paper after he played in a recent friendly against Runcorn Linnets, and now joins his good friend and REMYCA striker Louis Austin at the Litherland Sports Park.
Cammell Laird 1907 - Lairds have organised a Hotpot Supper evening for Thursday 2nd April, where the special guest will be former Everton, Ipswich Town and Liverpool striker David Johnson. Tickets are priced at £25.
Silsden - the Cobbydalers' Extra Preliminary Round tie in the FA Cup against Consett was the starting point for Otley resident John Coyle undertaking journey to Wembley for the 2014-15 FA Cup Final. John decided to follow the winners of the follow-up ties to eventually reach Wembley for the Final, and is now at the semi-final stage.
