Glossop North End are now the League's sole representatives in the FA Carlsberg Vase, after a terrific 1-0 win in their 4th Round tie at Worksop Town.
An extra time goal from Jason Carey earned victory for the Hillmen, and they will now face Dunston UTS of the Northern League at Surrey Street on Saturday 7th February.
However, the League's other representatives in the competition, Chadderton, bowed out after a 5-0 home defeat to AFC Mansfield.
Elsewhere, there were plenty of other clubs going about the business of collecting league points, and in the Premier Division, Runcorn Linnets took advantage of Glossop's attention being focussed on cup glory by extending their lead at the top of the table to 15 points.
However, they were made to work hard for a 2-1 win over Nelson at the Millbank Linnets Stadium, with Mark Houghton grabbing the winner with just seven minutes remaining.
Ashton Athletic stay in third place after a 2-2 draw at Bootle, although the Yellows were 2-0 up through goals from Paul Watson and Isaac Kusaloska before the Bucks staged a revival to earn a draw through a Jamie Hay strike and an own goal
Runcorn Town were the day's highest scorers, with Paul Shanley and Curtis Cummins both scoring twice in a 6-1 win at Barnoldswick Town, a result that keeps Barlick in the bottom three.
Squires Gate remain in fifth place after a goalless draw at AFC Liverpool, two points ahead of Colne who won 3-1 at Congleton Town. Joe Garvin and Andrew Tinker both scored in the last 16 minutes to secure the win for the visitors.
Silsden are tenth in the table after goals from Benjamin Lamb and Kevin Ryan earned them a 2-1 win at Abbey Hey, and across south Manchester West Didsbury & Chorlton won 3-0 at home to St Helens Town.
A last minute equaliser from David Harry earned Alsager Town a share of the points and a 1-1 draw in the Cheshire derby against Winsford United.
In the First Division, away wins for the top two kept them ahead of the chasing pack.
Backed by a good travelling support, Atherton Collieries retained top spot after a 3-1 win at Eccleshall, with the league's leading scorer Mark Battersby moving on to 41 goals for the season after grabbing a hat trick.
Meanwhile Cammell Laird 1907kept pace with Colls at the top with a 2-1 win at Ashton Town, Paul Tosny and Adam Hughes on target for Lairds.
Barnton moved into third place after coming from 2-0 down to eventually win 3-2 at home to Irlam, with Ryan Jackson scoring twice.
Daisy Hill are fourth, with two goals from Craig Haynes seeing them through to a 2-1 win over Rochdale Town at New Sirs, and Hanley Town are two points behind in fifth place after a 3-1 win at home to AFC Darwen. Theo Stair scored his 26th goal of the season for Town on the hour mark.
Holker Old Boys occupy the final play-off spot despite being held to a goalless draw at Cheadle Town, and in the other game Northwich Flixton Villa drew 1-1 with Litherland REMYCA.
