The draw for the Third Round of the League Challenge Cup took place following the Abbey Hey v Colne match.

The draw took place in the club house at the Abbey Stadium, after the conclusion of the game between Abbey Hey and Colne, and was conducted by League Secretary John Deal, with the assistance of Abbey Hey Chairman Jim Whittaker and Colne Chairman Dave Blacklock.

The third round draw is as follows:

Barnoldwick Town v Formby
Alsager Town v AFC Liverpool
Bacup Borough v Holker Old Boys or AFC Darwen
Congleton Town v Maine Road
Padiham v AFC Blackpool
Abbey Hey v Cheadle Town
Bootle v West Didsbury & Chorlton
Runcorn Linnets v Winsford United

The Third Round ties will be played on Saturday 16th February 2013.
