Leek CSOB’s next home game on Saturday 10th November 2012 will be dedicated to the memory of former manager and chairman Chris McMullen.

Chris passed away last month following many years of service to the club, and as Programme Editor Stan Lockett explained, the club have decided that the game against Daisy Hill at Harrison Park will be designated as a day to remember Chris.

“As many people will be aware, Chris was well respected in the game and he was well liked”, said Stan. “Therefore the Club is intending this game should be dedicated to Chris’s memory as it will be our first home game following his passing.

“The Match Programme for that day will be dedicated to Chris and I am hoping to get articles in it from former players who played under Chris at Leek CSOB, and from his former Manager at Leek Town, Neil Baker, who is now Assistant Manager at Crewe Alexandra.

“I am also hoping to receive contributions from one or two of his former team mates at Leek Town who played with him in the FA Trophy Final at Wembley in 1990”.
